Water is magical

Water is a magical element to us. Unlike air, we can see it, touch it, feel it. Never had this thought come to my mind until one day, when I was holding the liquid (water) in my hand and trying to hold a drop with fingers. It is not sticky. It looks clear. It rarely takes a shape other than its container. That rarity of taking it’s own shape only happens when it is a droplet on a surface where it takes the shape of a semi sphere. I was also surprised by the fact that, it is one of those liquids which do not react negatively to living beings. We drink, we wash, we cook, we heat and more. When I take water into my hands and try to pour it to the ground one drop after the other, the silver colored movement of this liquid is a visual treat. When there is light, the surface of a water pool acts a mirror. I know all of my statements on water are commonplace, but were rarely given a thought. But, we may come to know the value of water, when we would be on the verge of losing access to it. Now, as it is accessible in abundance, we rarely give it a thought.
